Muslim Lifestyle Expo

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Muslim Lifestyle Expo by the lovely founder of ModestlyWrapped Charley, as their guest blogger. The Muslim Lifestyle Expo is an event that represents the best of global muslim lifestyle from all backgrounds. Bringing everyone together to enjoy just over 100 exhibitors from different countries, this including a modest fashion catwalk, comedy acts, islamic art gallery, and seminars from business leaders.

My time with Modestlywrapped was totally AM-A-Zinggg! I have got to say the team were absolutely pleasant and so lovely to work with, they made me feel so comfortable even though I was utterly anxious about the whole event. I was given the opportunity to see and try on clothing from different designers and of course to do a little little photoshoot in them *gives a cheeky wink*. Modestlywrapped collaborate with designers and brands such as FFM Dubai, Aatiya London, Na forrer, Nesci, Sadoq, Tizcka, Sugar Plum Coture, Sana Zinga and many more.

As you can probably tell from my instagram I completely fell in love with the Sana Zinga collection. It was the first thing that caught my eye when I reached the ModestlyWrapped stall. I mean the colours, the designs, the creativity behind it all was stunning! It was my fave colour palette nicely placed on one rail, looking all nudey and pretty. I even got a chance to meet and talk to the designer of Sana Zinga and she was such a talented and beautiful lady. I definitely recommend checking her clothing collection out guys, it's strikingly beautiful.

Even the FMM dubai abaya's/cape's were so candid and chic! They for certain were not hard to miss, with their eye-catching colours and prints. I got to try on the reversible niqab cape, and have got to say it really did warm to me and it looked elegant but quite sassy and trendy too. Their whole clothing range could undeniably brighten up yours or someone else's day let me tell you that fo' sure. They also had matching phone cases and USB's which was pretty cute. Would I recommend to check them out? YAAASSS go for it girlies! You can search FMM dubai and Sana Zinga  up on the ModestlyWrapped website ( They had some wonderful clothing collections from all diversities these were just the two I got to try on so do have a look around on their web you won't be disappointed.

The fashion show was one of the best part of the event, seeing modest fashion being represented in such a way was quite overwhelming. It was so lovely to see a diverse range of what others perceive as modest fashion from all types of different cultural backgrounds. All designers/ brands did such a phenomenal job at showing off their clothing collection... Imma say it straight it was LIT! They definitely showcased the beauty of dressing modestly, inspiring us muslim women and providing us with beautifully designed clothing. I am delighted I got a chance to see it.

Though the event was so massive and there were so many amazing stalls, I came across RoseMist which is a decorative company. They create stunning silk flower arches, flower walls and centrepieces. The flower wall that was created for the event was absolutely stunning! I had to give them a mention no doubt.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the event and would like to thank ModestlyWrapped for inviting me as their guest blogger! In terms of what I wore, I totally fell in love with this nude/gold pleated skirt (Asos) and had to get my hands on it. I wanted to keep my outfit quite elegant and classy so I matched it with a black turtleneck top (Zara), nude heels (Asos), nude scarf, with a black long overcoat (Asos). Guys what is it about pleated skirts?? I'm not much of skirt type of gal but oh my I instantly fell in love with this one, the fit and style was just toooo pretty. You will most certainly will be seeing another blog post on the skirt!

I really hope I didn't waffle on too much but that's it from me now ... aha finally you say ay? I'll tr to post real soon beauts but for now take care!
