Alabama's All American Eatery

This isn't the usual outfit sort of post, I thought I would change it up with a FOOD post as you can't say no to a food post right? Also I haven't caught up with you guys on here for a while now so just gave me something to post and talk about! Can I just say it has been painfully freezing in Manchester the past two weeks *cries*.  As I am typing this up I am sat with about 20 layers on (not looking so chic let me tell you) and a hot water bottle because I just simply can not hack it. If you're from Manchester also, please cry with me aha. Okay I will calm it, my aim is not to post and make you cry.

Yesterday I managed to get myself out the house and made a trip to Alabama All American Eatery, it was such a cute, classy and contemporary place with a bold decor theme. It had a really chilled and relaxing vibe, the service was excellent and the waitresses were so welcoming and polite. The only let down was, it was quite cold in the place and the waitress on a numerous of occasions tried to blast the heating for us but the cold remained.

The menu was very authentic and did breakfast and brunch type of meals, but me and my friend instantly went for the Sweet Stacks... as you do! We had the choice from three selections which were; 'Buttermilk Pancakes', 'Vanilla Waffles' and 'French Toast', we both went for waffles. As for toppings you had the choice to choose from three selections which were; 'Wild Berries', 'Banoffee', and 'Chocolate Peanut Butter'.

I chose the 'Banoffee' topping which consisted of caramelized bananas, pecans, toffee and chantilly cream. It was very tasty and a good size proportion considering we chose the three stack, so I can't imagine how big the six stack would be! Like always my stomach always fails me and I was not able to finish, but it indeed satisfied my sickly sweet craving for waffles. However, I wasn't a big fan of the pecans, other than that everything complimented one another and it was yum!
My friend went for the 'Wild Berries' which consisted of fresh berries, berry compote and chantilly cream. This again was delicious, though if you were going for that sweet sickly taste then I wouldn't suggest this topping. It had more of a healthy sweet taste which I quite liked. All in all it was such a lovely experience and I would definitely recommend, I could see myself going there again and maybe try out more of a savoury dish. Do note the meat is not halal but they did have some vegetarian options.

I hope you enjoyed this post my lovelies and if there is anything you would like me to post on my blog then do let me know below or on my instagram. I'm all ears! Also if you do make a trip to Alabama's then do let me know of your experience below or instagram, I look forward to reading them. Thank you for reading and I hope to be posting real soon hopefully and keep wrapped up and warm ... and take care!
